Riverbar & Kitchen Cocktail Masterclass-
Always wanted to learn more about making cocktails? Well, we have the perfect opportunity for you. The award winning mixologist, bartender, and author Jeremy Shipley is holding a cocktail masterclass at the popular watering hole & restaurant- Riverbar & Kitchen.
Jeremy is a well known figure in the Australian cocktail & bartending community. He won the Australian Gourmet Travellers Magazines "Best of the Best Bars" award. He was also the co-author of the popular cocktail book, Shaken. So those who attend the masterclass will be in good hands. Throw a party and impress your friends with your cocktail crafting skills!
The class will be 1.5 hours long and take place from 6:00pm - 7:30 pm on Thursday August, 28. Tickets are priced at only $45 per person. This class will be very hands on. You will get to shake, stir, and taste each of your creations. Attendees will try their hand at concocting a Hotel Georgia, Mojito (my personal favourite), and Plum Shino. Chinatown Chow Down-
This will be the first ever Chinatown Chow Down and you do not want to be that sad, hungry person that misses out! Starting from 12pm on Saturday, August 23 you can choose between four different sitting ...which means four chances to be a part of this exciting event. It's that time of year again! The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2014 is quickly approaching. The program has launched and tickets are up for grabs! Get in quick so you don't miss out. The Gala Dinner- Have dinner with the Mayor, Cr Paul Antonio to officially commence the 2014 Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. The dinner will take place in the exquisite gardens of Queens Park under the stars. Be among the first to see the breathtaking floral displays. See the winning entries in the Floral Art Design competition, and the launch of the Culture to Couture fashions all whilst the sound of spellbinding music fills the air. Indulge in delicious, fresh produce from Southern Queensland Country. High quality ingredients, all ethically sourced...this is sure to be a night to remember. This 5 course degustation takes place Thursday 18 September 2014 at 6:30pm. Tickets are $170 pp.
The Ergon Energy Flower, Food, and Wine Festival- This is an iconic part of the Carnival of Flowers. Come enjoy spectacular floral displays, hand crafted creations, and regional produce and boutique wines.
